The citizens say “We deserve a store.” The store says: “We deserve to make a profit.” It’s one segment of the community who is doing the shoplifting, it’s not just in this city, it’s all over. Years ago, I lived in such a community. I sold our house and moved to an area that likes law and order. We have virtually no crime, but then we have virtually none of that segment. It’s not perfect but compared to where we left … it’s utopia. Your only solution is move … period, get away from there.

How about they grow up , get over the entitlement mentality, take responsibility for their actions, get into a two parent household, get educated, and a job.
They shouldn’t have obese people talking about groceries….it doesn’t look like they’re hurting for food.

Why is no one concerned about the theft by their neighbors that caused the store to close? Is theft OK if it is not from you? Do these people expect businesses to eat the financial losses? What if prices were raised to cover the losses? Would they pay the higher prices or complain about price gouging? How do stores manage to stay open in “NON-MINORITY” neighborhoods? Is it because of less theft? Wonder why that is? Is there a message here that no one wants to hear? Are minorities expected to steal and be allowed to? So many questions but no answers.
IF the punishment for crimes are not INCREASED, until the activity slows down, or stops, IT is the criminals that are running the system. The taxpayers are being screwed, suckered, conned and made a fool of, by the low IQ, demon-rat voters. A war is coming. The weak & stupid will die, in MASS. prepare
If a Company can’t operate at a reasonable profit because of straight out theft, they are going to shut down & move out. If the store (security) or the people can’t/won’t change the environment being served then the reality is, the citizenry will need to adjust accordingly. Issues like this today, are no longer an exception, because of liberal cities take on it’s laws & justice.
You steal your stores blind and they have to close. Common sense. FYI the closest grocery store to me is over 15 miles. I am rural. Also the self check BS is just that. It has increased the amount of theft.
