A farmer actually saw one of his cows rising in a beam of light to a UFO. Mutilated cattle are found with no tongue, no rectum, and no blood anywhere on the ground. Are they friend or foe?

Christmas Eve/Morning, 1965. Because we had some of our Bahamian relatives staying with us, I’d been dispossessed of my bedroom and was occupying a bottom bunk in the room shared by my older and younger brothers. At some (uncertain) time during the night, I was awakened by noises from our dog and the horses which were seemingly agitated by something. At that point, looking out the window on the north side of the room/house, I noticed a dark, triangular shape, bearing a series of 7 green lights (which were continually flashing in sequence) around its periphery, in the sky and describing an odd flight pattern of repetitive triangles, as tho’ searching for or mapping something on the ground. Given the viewing angles, my best guess is that this vehicle was NMT 1,000′ or so high. I watched it for at least 15 minutes during which time my younger brother, in the upper bunk, woke up and, seeing this thing, started to freak out. I told him it was just the constellation Pleides (the 7 Sisters, because of the 7 lights), which calmed him and he fell back asleep. Then, while continuing to watch the show, the middle light suddenly flashed bright red and the craft zoomed almost straight up, so rapidly that it had disappeared from sight within a second or two. About 5 minutes later, a flight of dark (black?) helicopters, incl. at least 1 Chinook (then fairly new to the US inventory) and 4 or 5 Hueys came flying in formation, as tho’ they were pursuing the vessel I’d been watching. Let me emphasize that, altho’ these triangular UFO’s/UAP’s are now fairly commonly reported, back in the mid-1960’s they were not often (if ever) reported in the UFO literature. I should also note that, with the departure of the unknown craft, our animals seemed to calm down.
