Article III, section 1 of the Constitution (very first sentence!) says: “The judicial power of the United States, shall be vested in one Supreme Court, and in such inferior courts as the Congress may from time to time ordain and establish.” This judge is NOT a Supreme, nor is she Commander in Chief of the USA. She was an appointee, not elected, & serves in a district capacity. She can be—by the Article above, removed by an act of Congress that vacates the existence of her position or district. It happens more than you think b/c US districts grew or shrank in need all the time through our years as a nation. But this does NOT change: All immigration law resides in the Federal Gov’t, through Congressional laws passed & signed into law by the Executive. The Executive branch’s first duty is to administer the law. The Supreme Court has already ruled on this: Federal/district judges have no power to interfere with those protecting Federal property or carrying out Federal law enforcement. They also have no jurisdiction over international relations between our Executive and foreign governments—including immigration issues. PERIOD. The Border Chief can ignore her rulings. She can take him/this case to the Supreme Court and receive her public whooping.
