Benny Johnson aren’t you forgetting about the senior citizens that had their money stolen from our Social Security Security fund. That money has never been replaced or paid back. We are the forgotten ones along with veterans that suffer a challenging life trying to just keep a roof over our heads. We don’t feel where inflation has gone down much after monthly bills are paid and only have $100 left over for groceries each month. If we make a small amount over their cut off limit we can’t get any help. Or what about seniors that need a little help to get some repair done to their homes. I need a new cooking stove. $800 for just the stove then the labor. I have only 2 burners that still work. I think it should be divided up. Give seniors a little help with the pay out and for people that are working give it as a tax cut. You never mentioned property taxes. Seniors struggle every year to keep these taxes paid. Mine went up $130 more which made my mortgage payment go up. Property tax needs to be eliminated but I seriously doubt they would do that because that is a local tax. Seniors and Veterans sure could use a $2000 stimulus check to help us on a challenging monthly allowance from the government which is money we paid into and Obama stole from our SS Fund for Obamacare. Time for the government to pay it back!

My thoughts are stimulus should go to gainfully employed American citizens, which would be an incentive to give nonworking Americans a push towards gaining employment. But I’m also all for lower income taxes, lower property taxes, no taxes to the retired citizens who worked their whole life and paid into the system, but upon retirement, lose half their wages but still have to pay full property taxes.
Since seniors paid income taxes from their ordinary income why should seniors have to pay again!

For 60 years Government has gotten in the way of Americans becoming successful. Pay off the Debt that Congress has created, repay the IOU’s to the Social Security Trust Fund, close the IRS, open the ERS, close 90% of the Federal Government Bureaucracy and open the Mining Industry free of Bureaucratic BS that has slowly destroyed our Economy for 60 years. Most importantly only give financial support to Americans need it like disabled Vets not able-bodied people who prefer to live off of the Tax Payer. May be America can return to the MADE IN AMERICA of the 1950’s. What a concept and let Globalists fend for themselves for the rest of the world.
I too have been suggesting that homeowners who have paid off their mortgage should be free of property taxes! Seniors, like my wife and I have worked from a very early age and should now be able to enjoy our retired time! That’s why we keep fighting to keep Prop13, otherwise there’ll be a lot more homeless who can’t afford to pay!
