I heard 300 students were suspended from high school in Woodbridge, VA. I understand the teachers told they to do it? If so, the lawsuits will be rolling in.

Your point is true she does have the right to not talk to Principal ,BUT she doesn’t have the right of refusal of the order TO GO TO the Principal’s office.
School is not a place where people demonstrate – it is a place of learning, or learing as they say in Somalia. She was disruptive to the other kids, to the school personnel, etc. She should demonstrate on her own time and not on school grounds!

I did say that the student had no legal obligation to speak with anyone. Are you not familiar with the right to remain silent…or the Constituional Prohibition against forced or compelled speech by a government official? Is that Principal a Government employee? Yes…they are. Is that student protected by The Constitution? Yes…she is. So they can drag her to the Principal’s Office…but she doesn’t have to say a word. I have read that some teachers have even had students even marching carrying anti-ICE signs when they should be in school learning. What has our schools become? This is nothing but INDOCTRINATION, and if one of mine were doing this at the urging of those who are supposed to be teaching I’D SUE THE HELL OUT OF THAT SCHOOL, and remove my child from it. My children are being taught RESPECT for our LAWS and those who ENFORCE the Laws!!
I was a teacher and if you had a field trip you had to get permission slips from every parents. Now these indoctrinators (don’t deserve to be called educators or teachers anymore) don’t even tell parents they are taking their children out to a protest.
Parents need to SUE. Going off school grounds without parental permission is ILLEGAL, a student was hit by a car while being forced to go to a protest with his teaches and classmates. Students are being peer pressured to go even though they believe in ICE enforcing our immigration laws.
Teachers need to teach their subjects and there isn’t any class called “I am being indoctrinated to be a leftist Democrat”

If the students were taught the reason that they were protesting ICE, were they also taught that ICE was there to arrest ILLEGAL immigrants and send them back to their own country? Ask the students if they agree with breaking the law. Have the students ask their parents if breaking the law is ok
