The govt punishes SNAP AND EBT recipients for going to work. Those with kids who try to go to work can’t make it. They lose all their benefits! That’s why so many just decide not to work. If the govt would work with those that want to work, they should get reduced benefits, not taken away!!! Daycare, licensed daycare, if ungodly expensive. My granddaughter will have to pay $1800 per month!!! She’ll have to either quit her job or get a $10 hour raise!!!! It just sucks

Women are supposed to be stay at home moms. Why is your daughter working? It is the husband / father’s responsibility to provide the food. There should also be money set aside to provide for living expenses if he dies and he stills pays if divorced. There should be no daycare expenses because that is the mother’s job.

Stay at home Mom’s were normal in the 50’s thru 70’s. Know what happened? Wages for regular workers stagnated while CEO pay went from 40% more to over 400% more. Prices went up so Mom had to go to work to help keep the costs of raising a family affordable. Since Mom had to work, daycare was required which is unaffordable for most. Geez, get reality JB.

I paid 1200 a mnth back in the 80’s for childcare and that was a lot back then, so 1800 seems pretty reasonable today and I had to supply my sons food too. As a single mom it was hard but I worked hard. Paid for everything myself with no help! We had a nice place to live, clothes on our backs and food to eat! Education and hard work helps!
