They don’t want to be in control, they just want to make sure the Affordable Care Act is not trashed, which would leave millions of Americans with NO HEALTH INSURANCE !!!! AND continue SNAP for the MILIONS who rely on that to buy enough food to feed their families !!!!
No one is starving to death. However there are those that could stand to lose 150 lbs or more. They also need to learn to cook more wholesome foods that are less expensive and far more nutritious.

Apparently you have not been paying attention to the news. You might try it – you could learn something. Trump IS moving funds to keep people from losing their SNAP and to pay our military. You know the ones that fight to keep us free so some ungrateful people can act like complete imbeciles. Schumer and Hakeem ARE the ones responsible for keeping the govt shut down. They approved the bill itself but they’re greedy and want $1.5T more added to it, that is nothing more than welfare for illegal aliens, a continuance of ACA and other BS fluff. Maybe some of you welfare recipients need to do your part and get a job to support yourselves. Welfare was only meant as a supplement for lower wage earners that need a helping hand for their families. It’s not meant to support able-body people that are able to work and are just too lazy. This is what the majority of American citizens voted for. Get over it!

Hey Charley, the Republicans can’t open up the government unless the Senate has 7 democrats to vote with the Republicans. There has to be a 60 affirmative vote and there are not that many Republicans in the Senate. This is all on the Democrats.
