If 911 says they’re too busy, that should immediately exhonorate you from any charges based on you defending yourself.

worst part is he was put on hold in the middle of a gunfight this is why you carry and never expect anyone else to save you.

  1. Called, ‘taking your job way too seriously!’ Drop the whack’s car. Go get the Sheriff and return to pick up the car, while the Sheriff ARRESTS the ‘gunny!’

    • Nope, he should have shot the guy right there! He threatened you with a gun, and you kill him, it’s justified homicide/self-defense. Call 911 until he bleeds out.

I would have driven off with him in the car and taken him straight to the police/sheriff’s station, while calling them directly. The cops could have arrested him – he likely has a record and the weapon is more than likely an illegal possession.

  2. Logic would be that you can defend yourself any way possible when someone pulls a weapon on you. But, in a Blue city/state your action as a victum, could put in as much trouble as the aggressor, especially if the aggressor was an illegal. I like RJ’s solution (above) but to be on the safe side FW ( above ) has a more “stately” approach.

  3. Yeah, sounds like a good idea, FW…but in Memphis, would he really be able to get the sheriff? If he couldn’t get 911, how do we know that he’d even get the sheriff, also? So glad I don’t live in that worthless place, full of lower-grade individuals…wouldn’t mind living in the sticks, in Eastern Tennessee, on the Cumberland plateau–but in Memphis? That place is just about as bad as Newark, here in NJ–and no respectable person lives in, or anywhere near, that sh!t-hole…that poor guy actually repos cars in that ghetto? And, he didn’t come with another armed guard, himself? He must’ve been too high on drugs, himself, to think that he could just repo any car in that violent, gangland, white-hating h#ll-hole–and not wind up getting shot, himself! Decent, respectable people, here in NJ, have more sense than to try and go into Newark, and repo cars, from gangland scum like that non-paying, cheating, thieving, car owner, depicted in this video–so, why didn’t this Southern cracker, realize the same thing, and act accordingly? He must’ve been just as desperate to make money repo’ing cars, as that (former) owner was to try to save money by not paying the car loan, anymore–and yet still trying to avoid having it repo’d–by any means necessary, including engaging in a gunfight! I know the repo guy was legal, and right, morally-speaking (because the “former” owner had clearly defaulted on the loan, and had stopped paying on it, which, in itself, is a form of thievery)–but the repo guy just exhibited no common sense, here, whatsoever! Didn’t he realize the danger that he was putting himself into, by doing repo in that piece-of-sh!t neighborhood?!? Or, is he just so used to hanging out with lowlifes of his own kind, that he didn’t realize that he was in an area with a different kind of lowlife, who might react even worse? I know that I would never go into Newark, looking to repo cars, without serious armed backup–so why is he going into Memphis, alone–and taking the same risk? And, what kind of car company would give a car loan to a piece of trash like that, anyway? Didn’t they check his record of payment, his loan history, his credit-worthiness (or, lack therof)? I’m not defending that ghetto scum, cheating non-payer, but that repo guy was overweight, had an unruly beard, looked all the world like a “motorcycle hog” type of guy, and had tattoos–like any classic heavy drug user/addict/alcoholic–and here he is: risking his own life, in a very irresponsible, disrespect-able livelihood–in a well-known dangerous neighborhood–and he expects to have no consequences, for his actions?!? All I see here–are two desperate men, both pushing their limits–in a desperate fight over money. And what did Jesus say, two thousand years ago? “What profit-eth a man, to own the whole world–and lose his soul?” Seems to me…like both of these men…have already LOST their souls–ready to kill each other–over relatively small amounts of money…
