How about Paul Walczak who witheld paying $10M of his employees taxes, kept it and bought a $2M yacht. He was convicted of fraud, sent to jail and ordered to pay the money he skimmed back. Then, his Mom went to Mar-a-lago, “donated” $1M and Walczak got a presidential pardon!
How about that Grammy? Or the reality show couple who stole $17M by bank fraud and tax evasion and also bought a Trmp pardon?
Or Rick Scott who bilked Medicare for millions and then Florida elected him to Congress!
Musk makes billions from government contracts…government hand outs. Then he uses billions to get favored bank loans ordinary people cannot get.

When the rich leave a state, all former employees as well as owners and officers stop paying taxes to that state. The new state gets the benefit of the taxes that the former state lost. California oil refiners just added another increase to the state’s deficit.
