LeVar Burton, a renowned actor and children’s literacy advocate, recently accused the political group Moms for Liberty of engaging in disruptive behavior during an awards ceremony honoring children’s books.
Lavar made the dig at the group during his opening remarks. “Are there any Moms for Liberty in the house? No?” he asked “Good! Then hands will not need to be thrown tonight,” he says, as the crown chees an Burton laughs.
