You young podcasters are acting as if this is some football game, where you’re comfortably in the spectator’s seat at home. All these wars are going to break us to the point we can’t come back. Do you know that if we put our ‘all’ in Iran or any place else, we’re sitting ducks for Russia and China when we’re at our weakest. Do any of you remember Napoleon or Hitler who stretched themselves too thin?
We never learn and our boys and girls are so expendable in all these encounters. And so are the kids on the other side too. It
s a government’s war, the people have no axe to grind, but their bodies are thrown in there anyway instead of those that really want to orchestrate the ‘war’. Remember, this isn’t a video game, though you absolutely cheer for destruction of people and their homeland. Kids are getting killed-on both sides. What if this were happening to us on our homeland? George Washington said the only reason to fight is if the enemy took it to us. Guess, we are outside his speech and idealisms for his country he’d fought so long and so hard for.
We just liberated the people of Iran who were being mass-murdered by Ayatollah Khomeini. The Iranian people are cheering and dancing in the streets. These same “leaders” that are no longer are responsible for most of the terrorist attacks around the world. They chant death to America frequently and they had all intentions of wiping out the US. The way I look at it, it came down to us (including the Iranian citizens and Israel) or them. I choose them. Even some of the Arab countries are joining in, like Saudi Arabia. They can’t have peace until the threat is annihilated.
