Iconic Cracker Barrel was one of those places with good down home food, a quaint shop, southern hospitality, ambiance. There were actually places and times like that. Sorry you missed it, NOT. I’m a native Californian and there were actually places like that there also once upon a time. There were small towns in rural California where families would stop and visit on their Sunday drive. Great hospitality. Your preference for the busier rat race, high crime, high cost of living lifestyle is what YOU want, not the rest of the world.
