When a judge lets a criminal off with no punishment for a crime, the criminal performs another crime within three months of release, the perp returns to prison immediately. There needs to be a system to punish the judge in these instances, immediate removal from the bench and his law degree certificate be removed. Political figures making statements such as this Charlotte Mayor made, should be removed from civil service. Don’t leave it up to the voters, they aren’t intelligent enough to determine between good and evil.
BTW, I think that Mayor just got reelected, and why three months of release? They should not be given 3 months to commit another crime. Like this poor lady, that’s enough time to kill again. Don’t give them that chance. 14 time loser! Law down in NC seems to be non-existent. This judge should have to pay for her decisions, and so should the politician who DEI’d her to the seat. It is time to revoke/repeal the right to vote, for all women–and start ending this progressive nonsense–that began when women got the right to vote, at the beginning of the Twentieth Century. Women’s rights–only leads to women’s disasters–and that, by the way, includes both the mayor and the judge–of this city, where this crime occurred.
