Seoul has rougly two million more people than New York City, but is 75 square miles smaller. It’s population density is a whopping 43,294 people per square mile. Seoul is roughly 30 miles from the DMZ.

I was stationed in the RoK two times while I was in the USAF. Each time was a year long tour. I went in 2004, and then went back in 2013. I cannot describe how terrible a war between the North, and South would be on the Korean peninsula. The idea of this conflict is nightmare fuel for me. When I went back in 2013, the consensus was that it would take 30 days to stop the North’s ability to employ chemical, and biological warfare weapons. The North also has approximately 12K pieces of artillery trained on Seoul. They believe Seoul could be leveled in as little as 24 hours. Both sides have been training militarily destroy one another for 80+ years now. This war would be like nothing we’ve ever seen.

If you pray, pray for the people of the Korean peninsula. Pray for peace.

There are many of us who are awake, paying attention, and preparing which ever way we can.
