Nothing against Vance, but I SO wish Trump had named Tulsi Gabbard as his new VP. Firstly, she’s a woman, which gives her popular standing against ‘the other woman”, Harris.
Secondly, she’s mixed race, which gives her popular standing against the other mixed race woman (c’mon, Kamala – are you black, brown, south Asian or what this week?), Harris.
Thirdly, Harris has to have fond memories of how Gabbard so savaged her during the Dem primary debates in 2020 that she had to drop out, without having won even a single delegate.
OH, and as an Independent, Gabbard would add ‘non-partisanship’ to the ticket, in a race where the Independent vote is critical.
