The helicopter pilot in the D.C. crash was female with only 500 hours of flying time. Not to knock her before the investigation is complete, but it’s going to come out that this accident was helicopter pilot error.
My question about the captain flying the Blackhawk. What was she doing a couple week’s before presenting the “Freedom Medal” to Ralph Lauren in the White House with a dozen other recipients with White House aides helping Bribem issue the awards? I thought she was a chopper pilot stationed at Ft Belvoir? Aren’t there plenty of personnel in the White House? Why was this Captain/pilot doing away from the flight line on a REMF detail? Something wrong with that?

Steve, you are wrong! You left out that the helicopter pilot was a woman.
I personally know a woman airline pilot. Before she left the USAF she was a U-2 pilot. I’d fly with my family in her aircraft at anytime!

Sure, I think anyone would because she was duly qualified. Did she meet any quota, or was she hired because of her gender or the color of her skin? Probably not, because the bottom line is – she was qualified, period!
