It’s not just “inconvenient” to talk about Israeli military forces deliberately targeting churches in Gaza and the Christian families taking refuge inside, where they should rightfully be safe from bombs and snipers, the propagandists would have us believe it’s anti-Semitic to dare to question Israel’s “self defense” tactics, no matter how brutal and criminal. Even mentioning words like “genocide” and “ethnic cleansing” in connection with Israel’s obliteration of Gaza and the wholesale massacre of it’s civilian population, is now forbidden lest one risk being falsely accused of antisemitism.
With over a billion Christians in the world, the Pope is obligated to condemn the murders. I do, however, wonder at his sincerity.
