Robert you are so right. Gun free zones are better called kill zones where as you are not allowed to protect your self by concealed carry. Cops do their jobs but they can’t be every where all the time and respond times vary.
Guns don’t kill people, people kill people. They use knives, cars, rocks, rope and guns, etc. Making guns illegal does not solve the problem. Anyone can walk down a dark alley and say “Joe sent me,” and buy a gun. … I grew up with guns, my Dad was a COP. As kid, we knew not to handle any of Dad’s guns unless he was there with us, they weren’t locked away. I’ve been held up at gun point and I have open carried. I’ve never shot a person, but I have had a hunting license and shot deer. You can’t protect a population from criminals by imposing laws on responsible people, because the irresponsible/criminals don’t obey the law.
