Yeah, we can just print more money to pay off our national debt. Easy peasy. (Duh, why didn’t I think of that?) The problem is, no country has successfully printed its way out of debt. The US dollar will get a short haircut at some point. No one can predict when that day of reckoning will come, but it will come. BRICS countries are trying to unseat the US dollar as the “world currency”.
