House Homeland Security Committee, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) questioned FBI Director Christopher Wray about the pro-ceasefire protesters who entered the Cannon building.
In her line of questioning, Rep. Greene sought clarification from Director Wray regarding the FBI’s handling of the situation, especially with respect to the entrance of the pro-ceasefire protesters into the Cannon building. The building is a prominent structure in Washington D.C., housing congressional office spaces and numerous staff members.
Specifically, Representative Greene was interested in knowing whether or not any actions were taken against these individuals for their unauthorized entry into the secured location. She wanted to know if there were any consequences faced by the protesters under federal law or if they faced any repercussions from Capitol Police.
