Old guy here. Our founding fathers DID NOT want a monarchy, or a democracy, but a constitutional REPUBLIC. They specifically set up this republic with 3 distinct, separate but equal branches of this government. This balance of power is set up so that each branch of government is to maintain a system of “checks and balances” so that NO one branch would DOMINATE the other 2 branches, therefore leading to again, a one party, one man type rule, or anarchy. Our Supreme Court is NOT supposed to be political, but to follow, interpret, and rule on our laws, without prejudice, as instructed by the Constitution, our founding document. The fact that it is working the way it should is proof of the wisdom of our founding fathers and their faith in GOD Almighty.
