The NFL crushed the NBA because the NFL has crushed sports viewership for 2 generations. MLB declined (though stabilized), NHL steadily got more popular but it’s a highly regional sport internationally, and the NBA peaked in the MJ/Kobe eras. The ONLY constant is that the NFL has smoked viewership in the US for decades.
Roster turnover is a major problem. Rivalries are non existent because star players leave their team every other year.
Granted the NFL has more viewers than MLB or the NBA, but still they don’t have much to brag about. I stopped watching the NFL when they went woke and disrespected the National Anthem, the flag, and the country. I have better things to do than waste my time and money on any professional sport.
NBA is boring, The teams loaf through the first three quarters and then play the last. Stars are allowed to travel, etc with no calls. And it has gone woke. I have not watched in years. Base ball and Hockey are also boring unless you are a big fan. I used to watch baseball all the time but now I have no idea who was even in the World Series.
