Illegals have every reason to flee, they are NOT migrants. If they are working at a real job, they’ve stolen an identity to do it.

You can take anything cuckoo Kathy Hochul burps out with a large grain of salt. She tends to exaggerate if it fits her agenda. It didn’t “cost” the city because the city didn’t lose 25,000 jobs. She conveniently doesn’t mention the small business that closed permanently due to Andy Cuomo’s unconstitutional Covid lockdowns.
Amazon probably would have hired a huge number of illegal invaders anyway.
Indentured servitude is alive and well in America. Illegal workers almost always owe coyotes of the Cartels, with collections being fostered by the businesses that are exploiting them. It is not enough to indict the illegal workers, but you MUST go after those doing the hiring , or it will merely continue.
100% correct! And they need to be hit HARD with massive fines and even jail time for their CEOs; and same goes for providing housing. If this were done, every business in this country would immediately fire every illegal and no one would provide them any housing. Without work or housing, there would be a MASSIVE self-deportation.
We the People didn’t invite the illegal invaders to come here. They did so under their own volition. Now they’ll suffer the consequences. Their employers should suffer the consequences too. Hiring illegals is wrong.
In every place I’ve ever worked I had to show a valid DL and my SS card. I had to have a resume and list my previous employers/supervisors, which was checked. There was also a background check. It normally took a minimum of a couple of days to hear back. I seriously doubt if these illegals had to go through any of that.
Also, I get sooo tired of illegal aliens being referred to as migrants. If they didn’t go through the ports of entry and were vetted and have proper documents, they are here illegally, period and therefore illegal aliens.
Amazon needs to be held accountable for hiring criminals.
