Thursday’s CNN Presidential Town hall held Democrats’ desperation as Biden calls for President Trump to step down weeks before the national election.
Weeks before the election, Democrat Presidential Nominee Joe Biden might just have realized he could only become President if Trump steps down. Sleepy Joe, as the President calls him, picked only the easy questions during the show.
Serving as the unofficial Public Relations committee for the Democrats, CNN hosted the town hall for their contender in his hometown, Scranton, Pennsylvania.
The event, moderated by Anderson Cooper, aired Biden’s lack of platform, mainly focusing on attacking his opponent. Of all the things to throw, Biden and his many allies picked the pandemic issue, saying that President Trump failed in his campaign against the virus.
In an effort to blame Trump, Biden subtly acknowledged his weak rally on his ambitious attempt to become the next President, calling President Trump instead to “step-down.”
Cooper and Biden earlier drew flak on their momentary lapse of violating social distancing. Biden was seen on camera crossing the distance between them until he could almost touch Cooper as he whispered in his ear. Social media notoriously slammed the hypocrite pair.
Biden is indeed a man whose actions contradict his words. He has been lecturing about wearing masks yet was also seen violating one of the guidelines – and on camera, no less.
The Hill reported an excerpt from the evening town hall.
“This is all about one thing, the stock market,” Biden said. When asked how to address the Americans on protecting themselves from the coronavirus appropriately, he claimed that the President doesn’t want to see anything happen.
“It’s all about his reelection. It should be about the American people, and they’re in trouble,” Biden continued. He also cited the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Robert Redfield’s encouragement on Americans to wear masks to stop the coronavirus spread.
“You’ve got to level with the American people — shoot from the shoulder. There’s not been a time they’ve not been able to step up. The President should step down,” Biden said.
Seven weeks before the elections the left-wing Democratic Party scrambles to throw everything in the Republicans direction. It’s totally understandable that Biden’s arguments have narrowed down to saying one thing and doing another.. or the next day changing his mind and just telling right out untruths.
To say the President’s response to the pandemic is a failure, you must be hiding in the basement for a very long time, Joe. Step up and Step out of the basement. Give the media a chance to ask you HARD questions….. Instead of the Elementary School Aged questions that they have been asking you.
