On Monday night, former President Donald Trump sat down for an exclusive interview with Fox News host Sean Hannity. During the interview, Trump revealed some of the things many have been waiting for months to hear.
According to Trump, he is “very seriously” considering running in 2024 but then added that that is still too far in the future to make any promises.
“We are going to help with the House,” Trump said about his 2022 goals. “I think we have a perfect chance. I’m working with everybody, including Kevin McCarthy, in taking back the house. I think we have an excellent chance of doing it. Likewise, the Senate’s going to be a little bit tougher.”
Trump said that he would help the Republicans win back the Senate, adding that the Republicans have a “really, really good chance.”
“If they need a rally, we’ll do a rally. We’ll do calls. We’ll do all sorts of things,” Trump said and claimed that he was “all in.” “What do you miss the most about being in the White House?” Hannity asked.
“I miss the most helping people because I can directly help people. That’s why I did it,” the former president answered. “I had a great life, great company, great business, no problems.”
“I love doing it because I help people,” Trump repeated.
He then claimed that “There is more “popularity” now than there was the day before the election” because voters have seen how bad things have become at the border.”
“They see what’s going on. They see that their guns are going to be gone, [and] their second amendment. Their taxes are going up. Regulations are going through the roof. Jobs are going to go out,” Trump continued.
“This is going to take a little while to show. But if they add all these regulations back, the jobs are going to be gone,” he added. “Your energy independence is going to be gone.”
When asked about the odds of him running in 2024, Trump said: “I am looking at it very seriously—beyond seriously. From a legal standpoint, I don’t want to really talk about it yet; it’s a little too soon.”
Let’s just hope America survives under Biden until President Trump comes back.
