Through a voice vote, Republicans had Cheney ousted from her leadership position. Afterward, she ran to the media that seems to always be on the left’s side and attacked former President Trump.
She had also helped spread out the Democrat message to America:
“The nation needs a strong Republican Party. The nation needs a party that is based upon fundamental principles of conservatism. And I am committed and dedicated to ensuring that that’s how this party goes forward. And I plan to lead the fight to do that.”
“I will do everything I can to ensure that the former president never again gets anywhere near the Oval Office,” she added. “We have seen the danger that he continues to provoke with his language. We have seen his lack of commitment and dedication to the Constitution. And we must make sure whomever we elect is somebody who will be faithful to the Constitution.”
Then, on Wednesday morning, Fox News anchor Bret Baier said it would be “interesting to see” what would happen if 100 GOP lawmakers formed a new political party.
Baier had said, “There are about 100 lawmakers apparently. Actually, that is going to release a letter saying that they’re going to form a third party if the party does not break formally with former President Trump.”
“I think that would be interesting to see how that develops,” he added.
