Politics is an inevitable part of our society, but it should be real and healthy politics, not dirty. With no real political agendas outside of galvanizing the ongoing racial strife, encouraging the anarchy, and supporting rioters as their nominees, the Democrats are making the future look bleak with the destruction of the nation’s economy.
Remember the “Two weeks to flatten the curve” statement? Well, it has been over four months of strict lockdown since then. The truth is that Democratic Governors and America-hating liberals who belong to the JFK and FDR parties, simply cannot allow any progress to be made in bringing everything back to normal.
Even the idea of reopening schools could not avoid the eyes of the Democrats. They go so far as to use it as a weapon in the war against President Donald Trump — as Nancy Pelosi uses dirty politics against the educational development of the millions of students in the US.
Recently, the spiteful speaker seems to have gone mad from her irrational hate for the President. She opposed the idea of reopening schools at the time of the year when students are preparing to return to classroom after the summer break.
As usual last Sunday morning, Pelosi appeared on the television where she has become a regular face and started fear mongering over the coronavirus issues as a reason to keep students in their homes during the lockdown.
“When you reduce the spread, you can open up the schools, when you reduce the rate of infection in a community,” Pelosi said. “But until you do that, you have to be very careful.”
According to Nancy Pelosi, the US needs to first concentrate on gaining better control of the coronavirus outbreak before opening the schools nationwide.
In an interview with ABC’s “This Week”, the Democrat House Leader said that the officials of the Trump administration are not being realistic about the ability of local officials to ensures the students’ safety during the pandemic.
She also lashed out, saying that she is not confident in White House Coronavirus Task Force Member Dr. Deborh Birx handling the coronavirus issues.
She also exploited the issue of children’s health by saying that Trump was “messing with children’s health” by making the decision to reopen schools.
Nancy Pelosi already condemned Donald Trump and his administration for pushing the schools to reopen in the fall during the pandemic, as the number of cases are still rising in some parts of the country.
“This is appalling. The president and his administration are messing with the health of our children. We all want our children to go back to school, teachers do, parents do, and children do, but they must go back safely,” Pelosi said on CNN’s State of the Union.
Pelosi also referred to Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos’ comments earlier on CNN “malfeasance” and “dereliction of duty.”
We have only three months left before the election. Pelosi’s push for school closure is actually disrupting the economic stimulus payments that could put up to $3,500 into the hands of Americans in their time of need.
It’s very unfortunate that this is current state of American politics — where Pelosi’s hatred for Trump is so deep, that she doesn’t think twice before damaging the nation’s education system and social development — all for her pursuit of political power.
Dr. Fauci, the government’s top infectious diseases official said, “Evidence of the negative impacts on children because of schools closures in the spring of 2020.” He declared that schools in hotspot areas should remain closed, and added, “The primary consideration should always be the safety, the health and the welfare of the children, as well as the teachers and the secondary effects for spreading to the parents and other family members.”
Some large school districts like Los Angeles and San Diego decided to keep schools closed and continue with the tech-teaching this fall. The only problem is that no one is caring about what kids are going through in this isolation. A lot of kids are suffering from anxiety and depression due to the isolation because they have gotten used to spending a lot of their time in schools before the lockdown. At the very least, politicians should not exploit this particular sensitive issue.
