Rocker Bruce Springsteen proclaimed to leave the country if Donald Trump wins in the 2020 national election.
Springsteen announced his rather silly remark to the media during a virtual interview Thursday. The singer-songwriter believes Trump is a “no-match” for Democratic Presidential candidate Joe Biden.
“I love Australia,” the rocker said to the Australian press. He shared that he only has good times in the land down under.
“Every time, we have nothing but good times down there. It’s always a treat to come. Love the people, love the geography, a great place for motorcycle trips, it’s close to our hearts,” he added.
Like any liberals, he spoke his mind about the 2020 elections outcome. As if to threaten the nation, he then declared to flee the country if his pet would lose.
“If Trump is re-elected – which he will not be; I’m predicting right now he’s gonna lose – if by some happenstance he should be, I’ll see you on the next plane.”
Further, Breitbart News reported the rocker joined fiction author Don Winslow in pushing the Atlantic’s narrative of Trump calling American troops as “losers” and “suckers.”
The allegation is repeatedly used like an old disco jack to push an anti-Trump ad aiming to sway Pennsylvania to vote for Joe Biden.
“America Needs Pennsylvania” reads the video’s title, highlighting the impacts of President Trump’s trade war with China. It spotlights the farmers and steelworkers and even the pandemic’s massive consequence.
Springsteen contributed his song, “Streets of Philadelphia,” which plays on the video soundtrack.
The Rockstar expressed he has “a little less faith” in his neighbors in the past four years. He said he found Trump’s last few years as president to be “a very disturbing time.”
“White supremacy and white privilege have gone much deeper than I thought they did,” Springsteen said, claiming the Black Lives Matter shone a light on racism in America.
He likewise called the Republican National Convention (RNC) “horrific” and said it was full of constant lies and complete distortion of the American idea.”
However, Springsteen’s opinions wouldn’t matter once Trump is seated again. Even Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison looks up to President Trump and his administration.
Word of advice for the rocker, pack your bags, and go.
