One wouldn’t wish ill to others, not even political rivals. Unfortunately for one of Governor Cuomo’s staff, a man stalked her on the eve of Christmas Day in a New York City street.

Footage shows the man struck her head with a cinder block.

We’d normally feel bad to see anyone hurt. We can’t help but think the scene was due to the governor and mayor’s bad policies this time.

Cuomo and de Blasio’s bad policies continue to destroy the city and the state and are partly to blame for this kind of attack.

Crimes in the city have skyrocketed in number since Mayor de Blasio’s move to defund and treat the police as the enemy instead of the lawbreakers.

New York Post reported that Cuomo’s staff was bashed in her head using a cinder block in a Midtown street. Police and sources said the random and terrifying attack happened on Christmas Eve.

According to sources and the NYPD, Lisa Cavanaugh, 51, had just left her work and passed a construction site located at Third Avenue near 48th Street around 2:15 PM when a stranger went behind her.

The man then smashed her in the back of her head with a concrete block and fled west on East 48th Street. Due to the strong force of the assault, Cavanaugh was knocked unconscious. Police said she was rushed to Bellevue Hospital, about 20 blocks south of the scene, with many gashes at the back of the head.

The terrifying daytime attack happened six blocks from Governor Cuomo’s Third Avenue offices. Sources claim the victim was heading home from work when the man spotted her. Fortunately, two witnesses saw the attack and alerted the authorities.

The footage below shows the shocking assault.

Cavanaugh was okay but needed stitches to close up the head wounds. Sources say she is now conscious and attended to by hospital staff who were taking care of her.

Officials have released a clear image of the assailant, who up to now is still on the loose.
