The border crisis has been getting worse and worse as each day passes by, and yet President Biden has not gone to the border even once.
Despite this border surge being the worst seen in 20 years, the Biden administration still refuses to call it a crisis.
Back when Joe Biden was not the president, he and his administration had no problems calling it a crisis.
Now that the number of unaccompanied minors living in the border facilities has nearly doubled, how could it not be a crisis?
Project Veritas and Axios have obtained alleged pictures of the border facilities. What those pictures show definitely seems like a crisis—children lying on the ground, using metal foil as blankets with their faces covered.
At this point, one might wonder: do they refuse to call it a crisis because it is exactly what they want?
After all, Biden had basically told everyone during the primaries that he would be kinder toward illegal immigration.
“And the fact is, I’ve made it very clear. Within 100 days, I will send the United States Congress a pathway to citizenship for over 11 million undocumented people.
All of those so-called dreamers—those DACA kids—they’re going to be immediately certified again to be able to stay in this country and put on a path to citizenship,” Biden had said.
As The Washington Post had reported, “the border crisis could have been avoided” if only the administration had heeded the warnings and prepared for it.
In fact, some illegal immigrants were asked if they still would have come if President Trump had won the election.
Unsurprisingly, they answered, “Definitely not.”
As Steve Burguiere, better known as “Stu” of Blaze TV’s Stu Does America, said, the situation at the border is not the crisis. After all, it happens under every president.
“It’s a real problem in the short term,” he said, “but it’s the stated desire of this administration and the left in general that our border means nothing in the long term—that is the real border crisis.”
