Proof has surfaced that 2020 Democratic presidential nominee Biden may have been involved with a criminal matter as he left the White House. A call that he had with then-Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in 2016 has been leaked.

The call contents were very similar to what the Democrats accused President Trump of doing in the past. Those accusations were the reasons why Trump has been the subject of many investigations.

I guess now we know where the idea came from.

The call took place on November 16, 2016, only a week after then-candidate Donald Trump had won the presidential election. The call in question was leaked by Ukrainian politician Andriy Derkach.

A pro-Russian Ukrainian politician, Andriy Derkach himself, is facing his own legal problems. He was sanctioned by the US Treasury Department last week on charges of foreign interference in the US election.

During the call between Biden and Poroshenko, they discussed what Biden could and couldn’t tell the Trump administration. Biden sought to sabotage the incoming Trump administration before Donald Trump even took office.

While speaking to Biden, Poroshenko could be heard saying that Biden played “an enormous role in bringing peace to my country, and actually saving my country. This is my real feeling.”

Biden thanked Poroshenko for his kind words, before sharing what he planned to do after he left the White House.

Biden also told Poroshenko that he wanted to stay “deeply engaged” in their diplomatic work, even as a private citizen. This could violate the Logan Act.

“Well, you’re awfully generous. I don’t plan on going away. As a private citizen, I plan on staying deeply engaged in the endeavor that you have begun and we have begun.

The Logan Act has come up multiple times concerning the actions of the former Obama administration.

This particular law prevents private citizens from engaging in foreign policy on behalf of the United States, if not given the proper authority.

Biden, in the call, openly admitted to setting up a backchannel for himself, which is illegal.

They were his own words, said with his own voice, in an actual call that he took part in. It was a blatant undermining of the then-incoming Trump administration, as well as a clear violation of the Logan Act.

After all of that… Why is our Justice Department still not holding Biden accountable?
