We’re in for a circus ride as Joe Biden’s team refuses to have his ears checked for any electronic device pre-debate despite agreeing days ago.
According to Breitbart, both Trump and Biden’s camps earlier agreed for an ear check by a third party to clear issues on listening devices in preparation for the Presidential debate. The President’s team initiated the request. However, the former Vice President’s team backpedaled, refusing to undergo the inspection days after.
Ebony Bowden from the New York Post tweeted, “Joe Biden’s campaign agreed to inspection for electronic earpieces at tonight’s debate several days ago but are now declining, a source familiar tells me.”
Trump campaign’s communications director, Tim Murtaugh, confirmed the report:
“Joe Biden’s handlers several days ago agreed to a pre-debate inspection for electronic earpieces but today abruptly reversed themselves and declined,” Murtaugh said in a statement.
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany also retweeted Bowden’s report.
Fox News also reported that the former Vice President’s camp requested two breaks during the 90-minute commercial-free program, one every 30 minutes. The reds shut down the request, sources said.
“Biden’s handlers have asked for multiple breaks during the debate, which President Trump doesn’t need, so we have rejected that request,” Murtaugh said.
However, the Dem’s deputy campaign manager for Biden, Kate Bedingfield, fervently denied the “pathetic” charges that Joe would have a listening device to feed him answers. She calls it a “distraction” from Trump 2020, the NY Post reported. She also denied earlier reports that they requested an every 30-minute break.
The much-awaited commercial-free, 90-minute program scheduled September 29, 9:00 PM EST in Cleveland, Ohio.
