The engineers are dancing around regulations that won???t allow building simple and powerful engines.

No Thanks. I’m sticking with my V8. No stupid turbos required. ????

  1. My wife purchased a Genesis G80 double Turbo 3.5 and prefers it to V8s which generally do not have the comfort, options, accessories at the price of a V8 (generally Mercedes, BMW, Audi etc).

  2. My ford ranger comprises parts of 3 different rangers so until you get use to it looks odd I don’t have clue how many miles it has since the dash came out of one of the rangers and shows 199000 miles once you get use to it it drives fine

  3. You can thank the dmeocrats for this bs. the fake climate change garbage at the EPA is driving this crap. A 1963 V6 with the addition of fuel injection with be the best solution for most things.

Thank you to all the ridiculous democrats for their stupid corrupt fake climate change regulations.

  4. Most people out West already knew there was no horrible Climate Change. Duping the American Public won’t get you any place here. Ride your Bikes and act like this is all there is, is a lame excuse for even living in Colorado. The Governor needs to either straighten up or leave. The Climate is supposed to change from Winter to Spring to Summer and then FAll. Mother Nature isn’t dumb. Its now June 1st and the warm season is up on us. The Gardens will start producing food. The people who can’t handle being wrong will go someplace else and try to push their agenda. Leave Western Colorado alone. We have been doing just fine without any help from the goonie birds that seem to want to change everything. Still have plenty of water as the Spring has been chilly. No big runoff yet. Enjoy your day. I am going to.

  5. I have always driven cars, made in America with V8 engine I recently purchased my first 4 cyl, with turbo, Ford Escape, and liked it so much, i am now ordering my 2nd one, there’s nothing wrong with a turbocharger, it has been long proven, on military aircraft, with great results, so why not on cars? I’t feels like a V8 when needed, and the gas mileage is astounding compared to a V8.

  6. America won’t be ready for “ELECTRIC” cars for at least another 25 years. Hopefully by then we might even have a better idea than electric cars?

They are not yet full developed, they have way too many shortfalls, the biggest being reliability, and driving range. And, there are still a lot of us, who like the sounds of a “reciprocating engine”.

Note: In these so-called United States,,,,,,all states should have auto inspections. Many states do not, this should not be tolerated. Somethings in the so-called United States, need to be 100% in all states. Auto inspections are one of them. And the other is; “VOTER PICTURE I.D. CARDS”.

  7. I had a ford galaxy 500 in 1967. 8 cyl. I could drive to Florida on two tanks of gas. it cost 1.25 cents a gal. which cost me around 25 dollars. I was making $4.00 an hour so it cost me less than 6 hrs. pay today my SUV takes four tanks of gas. that is sixty gal. at a cost of $3.50 a gal it is neat 200 dollars. I was making $35. per hr. which is about six hours pay. The claim of better gas milage isnt true. both the SUV and the galaxy were close in weight. the galaxy had more power and much better ride. better seats and more seating room. I have no way to compare the cost of an EV to my old gas engine. I do know that Florida was 1200 miles to the border of Fl. so I was getting around six hundred miles to a tank of gas. How much CO2 was put out with the gas engine as compaired to what it takes to produce the power to charge the EV. the best milage I have seen is around three hundred miles. it took me 15 minutes to gas up and go on. how much time will it take to charge a battery? even my power tools takes a half hour. what will a large battery take? then that is if a charger is available. Demand will drive up the cost of power. power that will take resources. Resources that will depend on fossil fuels to produce. our gov. is investing us into oblivion.———-I, Grampa
