A relative of mine works as a contractor for the IRS in computer programming. As I used to program he told me I could easily get a job with the IRS. He’s retired and works at home and bills the IRS $60 an hour. They in turn bill the government much more per hour. I asked about production and assignments and he said he didn’t think there was any purpose or end game for what he did. He never met with a team in person or online. He told me the IRS just wants the hours turned in so they can bill the government. This is probably happening in every one of our federal agencies.
