Every single time a situation happens like this the school authorities shun the parents for quoting the horrifying material, yet they show this very same material to minors. It’s appalling.
There was a man removed from a school board meeting in Florida for reading a passage from a book out of the school’s library. The irony that the passage is available to children at the school but is not appropriate to be read from at a school board meeting was not completely lost on all members of the board at least.
