As is so usual these days, the enticing come on naming the replacement for Karolina Leavitt – is never named. I hate these come on enticements but I have learned that this false advertising is so pervasive that expecting to actually find out what is promised is a fool’s hunt.

I have every confidence that Emily Compango would succeed in that role. The other candidates named, Jennings, Lake and Habba would also do very well I think. I was impressed with Kayleigh McEnany but she’s probably too expensive for a civil service role now. Sanders was great but she’s the Governor of Arkansas and more useful there. Whoever it is will find that Leavitt will be an tough act to follow. Let’s just hope for someone honest and competent.
