Baltimore Student With ZERO GPA FORCED To Start Over Highschool After Ranking In Top Half of Class!

Black Conservative Perspective – Project Baltimore has found hundreds of students are failing. It’s a school where a student who passed three classes in four years, ranks near the top half of his class with a 0.13 grade point average. Tiffany France thought her son would receive his diploma this coming June. But after four years of high school, France just learned, her 17-year-old must start over. He’s been moved back to ninth grade.

Most schools in the inner city are not “under-funded” that is a lie. Money is not the issue, accountability is.

No. She failed him by never checking his grades or being involved with her sons education or she would of caught this from the beginning

Did your parents ever look at your grades ? talk to your teachers ? counselors ?

Yes yes yes! All the time. And during my 34 years teaching in public schools I met every one of my students mom’s or dad’s or grandmothers or guardians .But that was elementary. Once they get to middle school the parents don’t come to meetings as much. But mine did. They asked to see every report card and had to sign them . And nobody was passed on if they failed. But times have changed and if you don’t pass them you are racist. If you call a parent in to talk about a failing student you must be racist. If you discipline a student, you are a racist.

This mother works three jobs to keep her children fed and housed. The report from the school claimed that she had attended parent-teacher conferences, that courses were passed and that his attendance was exceptional, a report that she said was not true.
Attacking the mother is the school trying to excuse the failure of it and its teachers to provide a basic education to its students.
If the child does not know he has a problem, if report cards do not reflect a problem, how would a parent know there is a problem? People can whine about parents not being involved in their child’s schooling and there are a lot who fall into that category, but when entire classes are failing to meet even basic standards the failure is with the school system.

If you have to work three jobs should you have 3 children?
