Once upon a time there were no expiration dates on items purchased from the store. There seems to be more preservatives to extend the shelf-life of the food. Once upon a time there were no seals under lids. We now have seals to prevent lunatics from poisoning us. I find the seal under the ketchup cap to be the hardest to get off. We now have to watch what we eat and drink. I say diet drinks cause cancer.
