As for H1 VISAs – I think the focus should be on why our American Universities are not producing (enough) qualified candidates.
We need to prioritize American workers first. If jobs can’t be filled then H1Bs are an acceptable option. But they shouldnt be abused to get skilled labor on the cheap. We voted against that.
