you just reminded me of the complete disaster that is the EV push.
they know it causes more pollution and carbon release (if you even care about carbon release: I don’t). that would be offset if a EV lasted for 300 or 500 thousand miles. however, EV’s are being scraped at an average of 46,ooo miles which is half the usage of the average fossil fuel car. If you include china tossing hundreds of thousands of them before they are even purchased and you have and average life of an EV down in the 38,000 to 41,000 range.
Same kind of stupid thinking with the trans surgery movement. 96% of people who do the trans modification, even just the medications, regret the decision within five years. yet the public schools and dmeocrats are 100% behind doing the permanent surgeries on children without parents approval.
