The blueprint for the WEF began at Harvard and the architect was Henry Kissinger who taught at Harvard as well. At the time it was called the “Young Global Leaders” and you had to be invited to participate. Kissinger invited a student who eventually became head of the Young Global Leaders at Harvard and showed a high aptitude for leadership. This student was Klaus Schwab who was then asked by Kissinger to lead what is now the WEF.
