Two wrongs still do not make a right. We need to be advocating for holding our corrupt politicians accountable, not use their corruption as an excuse to let others off the hook, including a soldier. You let one off, everyone will be doing, and you’ll have to let all of them off the hook. Not 50-60 years in jail, but he should have to repay the money, followed by a dishonorable discharge at the minimum. Then go after the corrupt politicians!
