Well, if you stop the lobbying, that will put a big halt on career politicians. Let’s go for it.
Like they said, cancel all these General Officers slots in the Pentagon. A 10-year wait until they can accept lobbyist jobs. If caught, cancel their retirement.
Money talks. Always has, always will. It will be a tough nut to crack because our political system is designed around money. Political campaigns run on money. No money, no future in politics. The people who give politicians money expect something in return. Term limits for Congress would go a long way to rein in the rampant corruption.

In order to get “term limits” to “change the Constitution” have to have an article V Convention of the States Because a flat out vote in the Congress or Senate to stop dark money/ Lobbyist they will never do. Its a shame that campaign money has become such a big issue in elections! The biggest issue and should always be is how many people can you get to vote for you with out cheating on topics that help America and its legal people living here. Like I say my vote is Priceless!! It will be up to the voter to make sure we stop voting in crooks! There are lots of them out their these days. VET THEM WELL. Never give up Hope!! Keep fighting the good fight of Faith. There are some people who still have values and want to do the right thing! Like President Trump!! MAGA.
Lobbying is essentially bribery in most these cases .
Don’t think eliminating lobbying & initiating term limits will ever be realized in DC. I’d be happy if we could just stop the fraud, waste & abuse of our tax $.
